Since permit holders may park in College Town Garage after 2 p.m., we are sharing a temporary change in garage parking.
Starting on Monday, June 10, 80 ground floor parking spaces will be reserved for Eastman Dental patients. This is because Eastman Dental’s back entrance, the sidewalk and bridge connecting that entrance to the hospital parking garage will be closed for construction.
The construction is part of the new Emergency Department Tower project. Generators are being installed near the Eastman Dental back entrance to provide emergency power support.
You’ll notice signage outside and inside the College Town Staff Parking to help direct patients to these reserved spaces and shuttle service to Eastman Dental. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding, as well as your help in directing patients if needed. See the map below to view the reserved parking spaces for patients.
In light of these changes, please be aware that the College Town Garage may experience increased traffic during this period. As a safety reminder, we encourage all pedestrians to use designated crosswalks to cross East Drive from College Town Garage. Additionally, the speed limit in the garage is 5 mph for everyone’s safety.
